    Do you have one of these formats?
    These three formats all had the same size tape. It's dimensions are similar to a cassette tape. Each of these formats will normally say "8mm" in small letters somewhere on the tape.

    VHS has been the the standard video tape format for over two decades. Most people would call this a "normal" video tape. Like all tape, it will deteriorate over time. WE DO NOT CONVERT COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS SUCH AS MOVIES OR TV PROGRAMS.

    VHSC tapes are about 1/3 the size of normal VHS tapes. It was a popular format in the 90's. The tapes normally say VHSC on them.

    Transfer Microcassette to CD Convert your MiniDV home movies to digital.
    Are your tapes MiniDV?
    MiniDV became a widely used format around 2000. Today most new video cameras use this format. It is only about 3 inches across and it will usually have miniDV written somewhere on the tape.
